relaxation. rejuvenation. organic healing.
It is with a heavy heart and mixed emotions that I am writing to you to let you know that we have decided to close down my massage practice, as of April 30, 2015.
For personal, professional and financial reasons, this was the best decision we could make to take care of our family. I am truly saddened to give up the practice as I love the work so much, and even more I love my loyal clients like you, and the friendships I have made over the years. However, along with the many restrictions in Ontario, this practice is no longer a sustainable or feasible enterprise for me.
At this time, I am working part-time downtown, and I will be looking to take on more virtual assistant, administrative and promotional contracts from my home office as I had done in the past. I am going to continue to grow Sophii’s Choice Dog Treats, as it pleases my heart, and allows me to play in my garden and get out to the Farmers’ Markets. I have also started a Soup Group which is a lot of fun, and also pleases my European senses by spending quality time in my kitchen, cooking nutritious plant-based foods for my friends!
I have spoken to my colleagues in the natural health and massage profession, and most are able to take on new clients if you are interested. I will have a list of them on my website with contact information. Please give them a call. They are all wonderful therapists!
Lastly, I would like to thank you for your friendship, and loyalty to the practice. I have really enjoyed getting to know you, and Sophii and I will sure miss seeing you. It has been a wonderful and rewarding journey, and it has been an honour to share wellness and natural health with you over the years. Stay happy and healthy, and keep taking care of yourself. Good Health is yours for the taking!
Yours sincerely, and with much appreciation.
Anne & Sophii
Welcome to Anne Kaarid Natural Health Therapies, a natural health practice focusing on plant-based and holistic massage treatments in beautiful Owen Sound, Ontario.
This practice offers a safe, quiet and relaxing space to restore your body from daily stress.
Maybe you were injured or deal with a chronic issue. Perhaps you are looking for natural healing or are proactively pursuing a healthier lifestyle. Maybe you just want to relax tight, sore muscles and enjoy a soothing day. Whatever your goal may be, I will guide you through the healing process through a variety of techniques specifically designed to work with your body’s natural processes.
Consider Thai Stem Massage for detoxifying, or Raindrop Therapy for boosting your immune system. Thai Yoga Massage is a wonderful alternative to mainstream massage, gently addressing tight muscles and fascia through rhythmic stretching. Myomassology Therapy is a holistic alternative to registered massage therapy, weaving Eastern techniques, lymphatic drainage, aromatherapy, and hydrotherapy into a whole-body massage experience. These complementary therapies are proven and effective in dealing with physical and emotional stress, acute and chronic pain, relieving tension and promoting a healthy natural lifestyle.
Feel free to visit the pages in this website for more information on the therapies offered, for resources for healthy lifestyle, and to make your first online appointment towards a healthier, happier lifestyle. I look forward to meeting you!
A special Note: This practice also is home to Sophii, a therapy dog, lover of clients and official greeter. She is small 10 lb. dog; a mix of Schnauzer, Shitzu and Poodle (Schn-itz-le!!). She is hypoallergenic and non-shedding, and extremely friendly. She too looks forward to meeting you!
