Anne is a graduate from the D’Arcy Lane (triOS College) Registered Massage Therapy program here in London. She has been part of the natural health profession since 2008 as a practitioner, and has deepened her massage therapy career with certification in pelvic floor massage therapy, manual lymphatic drainage, and thai movement to name a few. As a Healthy Breast Educator, she enjoys running women’s wellness workshops, with particular focus on the pelvic floor and core structures. Using her training and experience in several modalities and teaching, Anne customizes each session to treat the client’s specific needs.
Outside of work, Anne enjoys staying active in her church, taking in local arts and music, and spending time with her family. |
Anne raised her two sons in Grey County where they were involved in the region through the arts, music and heritage as well as the health care community in both volunteer and professional capacities. As a family they enjoyed the natural beauty of the landscape of Grey and Bruce counties.
All three have now graduated from post-secondary education and are forging new paths to serve their communities. Anne's eldest is a high school arts and special education teacher. He lives in Ottawa together with his wife and baby. Her youngest works as a professional musician as a drummer in two touring bands. His home base is in London where he has found his musical community. Anne has settled into London as well, but travels to Ottawa often to visit her family there. |
“As the daughter of Estonian immigrant parents, plant-based remedies and traditional healing was an innate part of my culture and family life growing up. As a Christian practitioner, I am grateful to be working in a healing ministry under God’s tutelage, using His 'pharmacy '(plants, herbs, and our own body's sense of balance). Through His example (Jeremiah 30:17), I too strive to restore health and promote healing in the people that come to my practice. To honour God by taking care of our bodies, (1 Corinthians 6:20,) I seek out opportunities to share wellness education and understanding through workshops, treatments and one-on-one education. Through prayerful treatments, I feel privileged to be guided by God to use my hands, my knowledge and compassion in enabling people toward better health and wellness. “…they will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well.” (Mark 16:18)”
